Lebanon 'Little Queenie' promo 7" from Lebanon | August 2015

The Rolling Stones - Little Queenie - LebanonThe Rolling Stones - Little Queenie - promo 45 from Lebanon Considering the poor success of this live single worldwide [it never entered the charts and was not even released in the US], the discovery of 'Little Queenie' c/w 'Love In Vain' [1971], a few years back on Lebanese black Decca labels was quite a shock. Until then, 3 singles from the late 60's had been released in this country on Decca blue-like labels.
Now what is even more surprising is that the local record company bothered issuing a promo white labels version of this track - which also was the last from their catalogue.
A promo stamp in French and English was added to the silver printed labels.
The number of copies pressed though must have been confidential.
Since 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' was issued on white promo labels as well in 1968 in Lebanon, collectors now may also dream of promo issues of 'Street Fighting Man' and 'Honky Tonk Women' but wouldn't it be only logic?

Estimated value : 120 €
