'It's Only Rock'n'Roll' Turkish company sleeve | July 2011
On the left is a Turkish untitled picture sleeve made in the 1970's but inspired from the band's first album shot by David Bailey from 1964 [!]. It was found housing the original 'It's Only Rock'n'Roll' Turkish pressing from 1974, generally distributed into Atlantic company sleeves.
This cover has no catalogue number, yet its back side features an Atlantic back catalogue reminder including the original exclusive Turkish coupling 'Brown Sugar' / 'Wild Horses' [ATL. 71504] from 1971 [on the right here, is an untitled version of the PS made for this single, still bearing the original catalogue number in the bottom left corner].
The artisanal aspects of these sleeves also witness of their scarcity, which should not be far from a couple of hundreds.
Estimated value : 150 €
