1982  The Rolling Stones UK and US Charts  Going To A Go Go

'Going To A Go-Go' is originally a 1965 song recorded by The Miracles for Motown Records' Tamla label and wrote by Smokey Robinson, Pete Moore, Bobby Rogers, and Marv Tarplin. Issued in December 1965, the single peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US the following spring. In addition, the single peaked at number-two on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart and was The Miracles' fifth million-selling record.

The Rolling Stones' cover was recorded live December 8, 1981 at Capitol Centre in Largo, Maryland, USA and released on the album 'Still Life' (American Concert 1981). It was released as the album's first single wordwide in 1982, as the band was in the middle of its European tour.

On the B-side, is a live version of 'Beast Of Burden' recorded live at the 'Rosemont Horizon', Chicago, 25 November 1981 [the studio version of 'Beast Of Burden' was originally released as a single in the US in 1978, extracted from the 'Some Girls' LP].
