About 20 Rolling Stones EPs were released in the 60's and 70's on local Thailandese labels
[mainly Thai Nakorn Records / Royal Sound, TK, MTR], as this format was more successful than the LP in this country, but, as for Malaysia, Indonesia, or Iran, none of these pressings was really official.
These records just look and sound like bootlegs - and that's what they are - yet they were the only material to spread the western music in this part of the world and for this reason only have a genuine cultural interest. Also, the exclusiveness of most picture sleeves, tracklistings [up to 6 tracks, when not the entire shortened album for 'Get Yer Ya Ya's Out'! - United Records 122], and finally the fact that they all were pressed in small quantities always made them quite sought-after among collectors and should justify for their inclusion into the band's 7" worldwide discography [on top of these EPs, note that a couple of Rolling Stones singles were also produced in Thailand, distributed without picture sleeve].
What is believed to be the first of these exotic records is an EP in titled sleeve which includes 'Satisfaction' and 5 earlier tracks. Subtitled 'Sxi Hits' [EE-1005] on a record label called EE, it gives the tone of the seriousness of this type of production.
'Get Off Of My Cloud' came next, in 1966, on another 6-track EP including 'Not Fade Away' in a unique 'guitar' art sleeve [MT 1719], both tracks being also available on a parallel compilation called 'Big Hits (High Tide And Green Grass)' directly inspired from the US compilation album of the same name and offering four sleeves color variations on the TK label [while a 'BigTop' brand on labels imitates the US London 45s labels designs].
The year after, three 4-track EPs, on TK as well, were extracted from the album 'Between The Buttons', two of which also copying the cover [re-colorized in blue and yellow]. 1967 is the year where the production was the most active and MTR seemed to rivalize with TK as some similar EPs, but with different tracklistings and covers, were produced at the same time.
On the label TKR, in late 1967, was issued 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' [TKR 204], a 4-track EP containing 'She's A Rainbow' and 3 tracks from the album, whom cover is a revamp of the US sleeve for '2000 Light Years From Home' [London 906].
A year later, the inner Michael Joseph's picture of the 'Beggars Banquet' album made the cover of another 3-track EP of the same name [MTR-302], including 'Street Fighting Man', 'Stray Cat Blues' and 'Sympathy For The Devil', always much in demand.
But the rarest of these little things certainly is the miniature of 'Get Yer Ya Ya's Out' on United Records [UR 122], the whole album being reduced at the 7" size both graphically [front & back] and musically [tracks were shortened].
In 1969, album 'Let It Bleed' inspired a 3-track EP of the same name [TK-362] in another exclusive picture cover, a reduction of the original poster coming with the British LP [the same picture of the band sat in Hyde Park was also used for the original Spanish cover of 'Little Queenie' in 1971].

Four 100% Rolling Stones EPs only were pressed during the 70's, all with exclusive tracklistings and picture sleeves :
a 4-track compilation 'Brown Sugar' [603] extracted from the album 'Sticky Fingers' in 1971, and three from 'Exile On Main Street' the following year.
The EP bearing the name of the latter mistakenly used a 1965 picture by Gered Mankowitz!
Only 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' [45-908] and 'Honky Tonk Women' [45-910] have been documented as singles from the 60's era so far.
Both bear US catalogue numbers, yet the absence of company sleeve and mention of record label on these records leave no doubt as to their illegal origin.
From the Atlantic/RSR period, 'Brown Sugar' and 'Happy' at least were released just about the same way [plain color labels], distributed into Sri Krung Phonograph Record Company sleeves.
