Except for 'Got Live If You Want It!' [PEE 1014] which is the same as its UK export version and bears a special number, all Decca Portuguese EPs have exclusive tracklistings and covers.
Because of its catalogue number, one can think this latter EP would have been the first one issued in this country, yet since no exact release dates are known, a logic chronological order has been observed.
Therefore, the debut EP was 'It's All Over Now' [PEP 1081], which with 'Carol', 'Tell Me' & 'Can I Get A Witness' compiled tracks from the band's first album.
'Little Red Rooster' [PEP 1087] came next, using the same picture as for the two first Spanish EPs.
It contains the B-sides of the last two UK singles, 'Off The Hook', and 'Good Times, Bad Times', along with 'Route 66'.
The third EP 'The Last Time' [PEP 1092] compiled the UK single of the same name with both sides of the 'Time Is On My Side' single [out in the US and other countries].
In 1965, 'Satisfaction' [PEP 1116] included both US sides of the famous single, as well as two earlier tracks 'If You Need Me' and 'Poison Ivy'.
'Get Off Of My Cloud' [PEP 1132] was inspired by the British export EP 'She Said Yeah' [SDE 7503]: it pushed its A-side to the B-side, both sides of the US single giving its name to this EP being on A-side instead.
The 7th EP '19th Nervous Breakdown' [PEP 1149] included both sides of the latest UK single on A-side. On the flip side, 'That's How Strong My Love Is' & 'One More Try' were taken from the 'Out Of Our Heads' album whom the US artwork was used for this EP.
The same recipe was made for 'Paint It, Black' [PEP 1149] which included 'Don't Cha Bother Me' and 'Think' from 'Aftermath'.
Still in 1966, another EP was extracted from the same album with Mother's Little Helper' ['Lady Jane', 'Stupid Girl' and 'Take It Or Leave It'] [PEP 1177].
And finally for this year, 'What To Do' and 'It Ain't Easy', two more tracks from 'Aftermath', featured on the 'Have You Seen Your Mother..' EP [PEP 1182] - along with the B-side of this otherwise single - probably the nicest and rarest EP from Portugal.
'Let's Spend The Night Together' [PEP 1194] and 'Ruby Tuesday' were also coupled with 2 tracks from the then current album 'Between The Buttons': 'Cool, Calm And Collected' and 'Connection'. Note that two different issues of this picture cover were printed, one with the old hexagonal Decca logo on front, the other with the new 'boxed' Decca.
Eventually, the last EP was 'We Love You' [PEP 1218] in 1967, which only contained one track on top of the two sides of the single, 'All Sold Out'. Its unique picture sleeve is very popular among collectors, depicting the band amused, Brian Jones bursting to laugh, Keith Richards with glasses, and Mick Jagger squinting...
These EPs - when found - are often in very poor condition, therefore their values in good shape can fetch high prices.
In 1968, the 'Super 45' EP format was dropped for the 2-track single but the old curved Decca logo labels lasted until 1970.
