1978, the band is distributed by EMI and most releases in Europe inspired from the UK discography.
Except for 'Waiting On A Friend' which was not released, Portugal is no exception and issued the usual EMI catalogue.
'Time Is On My Side' [11C 008 64930], live from the 'Still Life' album, is yet exclusive to Portugal for including a third track 'Going To A Gogo' - the previous A-side - in its tracklisting, which makes it the only EMI 7" EP!
As in France, EMI Portugal launched the 'Dance Forever' revival series in 1982, reissuing various hit singles, among which 'Angie' [EMI - volume 7].
Only 'Harlem Shuffle' [CBS 6864] was released on CBS in 1986 in the usual Ralph Bakshi's artwork, printed in Portugal.
A red promo labels edition was issued in the stock picture sleeve bearing a promo gold/silver stamp on rear, while two slight different stock yellow labels were produced [mentioning side numbers or not].
Contrarily to Spain, 'One Hit' (To The Body) was never issued in Portugal.
Further 7" in PS, from 'Mixed Emotions' to 'Almost Hear You Sigh' from 'Steel Wheels' were imported from Holland in 1989 & 1990 for promo purposes mainly, some bearing a Portuguese promo stamp on rear.
