Decca Australia produced 10 EPs, among which the three UK ones. Labels are aquamarine, with a solid center and a little hole in the middle, sporting the curved Decca logo [type I] until 1966, then the boxed logo [type II], similarly to England.
The very first runs of the first EP 'The Rolling Stones' [DFEA 8560] however were pressed on blue labels.
Most EPs were reissued a few times during the sixties into their original covers with flipbacks [exact reprints], and only labels designs can help differentiating various issues.
For a given label type - and this is true for singles as well, many variations may be met, depending on a small range of factors:
Publishers' logos
Original Australian labels bear the songs publishers' logos [or the copyright control round sigle if this latter remains unknown] on the left side of labels.
When two different publishers feature on the same side, the order in which these logos are displayed may differ [eg: here for 'Not Fade Away']. Logos size also may vary.
Publishers' logos were present on both types of labels - also on singles - until the latest pressings of type II when they disappeared on profit of text mentions next to authors' credits.
Italic lettering:
It was common thing, depending on the pressings, to find some information displayed in italic on labels.

Out in May 1964, 'The Rolling Stones' [DFEA 8560] bears the same number - with an added 'A' - and offers the same tracks than the British debut EP but has a complete different cover, using an early promo shot of the band [which Denmark, Spain or Portugal also used extensively].
The earliest pressings of this record bear blue labels.
'Bye Bye Johnny' is spelled 'Bye Bye, Johnny' - with a comma - on initial blue labels and later boxed Decca logo labels [type II].
All copies of this EP have duration of 'Money' set to 2.29 on labels while 3.29 on back cover.
Parallely, in June 1964, was issued the single 'Poison Ivy' / 'You Better Move On' [Y-7164] whom release had been cancelled in the UK [Honk Kong is the only country to have originally this single as well].
'Five By Five' [DFEA 8590], issued a few months later, has the same tracklisting and PS as the UK EP of the same name, with a back printed in blue. The first pressings have 'Berry' misspelt 'Barry' on B-side.
Due to its well-known artwork, this EP is often mistakenly ranked into the easy-to-find ones whereas it stands among the rarest Australian EPs [still lacking an evidence of its possible reissue on boxed Decca labels].
Issued at the start of the Australasian tour, in early 1965, 'Not Fade Away' [DFEA 7519] is an original compilation which was also released in New Zealand [the kiwi version has extra white borders on front, and liner notes printed in black on rear- instead of blue here].
Despite its title, the Buddy Holly's cover is listed last on the tracklisting of this EP, which also includes the two last summer's A-sides 'It's All Over Now' and 'Tell Me'.
This EP was reissued many times on the aquamarine labels.
But one of the most beautiful EPs from Australia certainly is 'Route 66' [DFEA 7521] with its exclusive sepia picture sleeve showing the band live at the International TV Festival, Montreux, Switzerland, April 20, 1964. This exclusive compilation includes 4 early tracks, among which the first UK single 'Come On' and its B-side.
Issued a couple of months following the 1965' tour, it was also reissued a few times, some covers missing flip backs.
In June 1965, the live EP 'Got Live If You Want It!' was issued worldwide and its Australian version [DFEA 8620] has the same cover and tracklisting than its British cousin yet is far rarer.
'Down The Road Apiece' [DFEA 7522] followed in the fall of 1965, dressed in the same cover as the 'She Said Yeah' UK export EP [Decca SDE 7503], and exclusively compiles 4 tracks from the band's second album.
Again here, mind the common artwork of one of the most obscure and hardest OZ EPs to find. Despite rumours, it was never reissued on the 'boxed Decca' labels.
'She Said Yeah' [DFEA 7526] is the same compilation as the UK 'export' EP of the same name, but comes in a complete and unique different cover - the British PS having already been used for the previous EP 'Down The Road Apiece'.
If the quality of the picture used there is so-so, this rare EP remains much sought-after - and its reissue with the boxed Decca logo labels even rarer.
During the summer of love blossomed 'Ruby Tuesday'
[DFEA 7537], whom the exclusive picture sleeve was inspired from the 'Flowers' LP compilation artwork and the content from the last singles.
Labels of type I - with the curved Decca logo - have now disappeared for the boxed Decca.
Note that all copies misspelt 'Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadows ?' both on labels and cover.
Whereas the EP format already belonged to the past, a unique compilation saw the light of the day in 1969 entitled 'Satisfaction' [DFEA 7544], under the same cover as the US version of the 1966 compilation album 'Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass)' [which also contained 'Satisfaction']. This EP, as the cover suggests, compiled 1965 & 1966 numbers, including the rare studio version of 'Fortune Teller'.
Five labels variations of this EP exist, housed into covers with or without flip backs.
Eventually, only one print was made of the late and unique 1971' EP 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' [DFEA 7549] which compiled the latest single 'Little Queenie' with 'Under The Boardwalk' [#1 hit in Australia and for the first time on EP] and the stray 'Complicated'.
The rarity and beauty of this last EP [artwork by Roger & Galbraith] makes it the most wanted picture sleeve from down under.
