The Rolling Stones left EMI for Columbia [CBS] in 1986.
'Harlem Shuffle' [07SP 940] is issued in standard picture sleeve in 1986 with an inner lyrics sheet. Preceeded by a yellow promo labels issue, a few copies of the track were also distributed on advance white labels into a unique promo-only fold-out 'Lifetime Achievement Award' cover stuck over a CBS company sleeve. Even rarer - 50 copies only would have been made - a 1-sided flexi acetate bearing the finished CBS label was made to be given free for a radio contest with the LP 'Dirty Work'.
The exclusive promo-only insert sleeve issued for
'Mixed Emotions' [XDSP 93115] in 1989 is very scarce, although not as rare as one thought.
Only issued for promo purposes, this single was also available in Japan in 3" CDS.
No more original 7"s were issued in Japan after 1989 [some reissues were released in 2023] but 3" CDSingles were produced for the next singles by Sony up to 'Highwire' [CSDS 8184], and a 5" CD for 'Sex Drive' [SRCS 5532].
The Virgin years saw 3" & 5" CDSingles releases up to mid-1995 with 'I Go Wild' [VJDP-10242], then 5" CDS followed from 'Rain Fall Down' [TOCP 40186] onwards.
In 2015, Universal issued a 4-track 5"CD EP of 'Rocks Off' to accompagny the 'Sticky Fingers' album reissue.
